Taylor Swift testifies that groping was 'horrifying and shocking'

Though it looked like Taylor Swift might find it hard to find justice because the Denver court system was finding it almost impossible to fill out the jury, her civil suit against former radio DJ David Mueller is now underway.

Mueller had originally sued Swift for his loss of a job that resulted from her allegations, but was hit with a countersuit in which Swift accused him of the assault.

During her almost hour-long testimony, Swift was insistent on her position that former KYGO radio host David Mueller "grabbed her bare ass", during a meet-and-greet on June 2, 2013.

On how she knows it was Mueller: "He had a handful of my ass. I wasn't going to blame Greg Dent for something Mr. Mueller did", Swift said.

The singer and her mother, Andrea Swift, were back in court after attending on Tuesday to watch potential jurors questioned about their familiarity with Swift or Mueller and whether they considered themselves to be fans of their work.

Swift, who wore a short-sleeved floral print dress, was in combative form as she was questioned for around an hour, occasionally rebuking Mueller's attorney for his line of inquiry.

Swift repeatedly said no one else could have groped her.

Call said he fired the DJ because of his shifting accounts of the incident, and because the photo showed that Mueller's hand was "not where it was supposed to be". "I never have said anything different". "I have experienced every degree of an awkward first encounter. you think it's a high-five and they think it's a handshake, and they say, "Oh, sorry" and you say, 'Oh, it's fine'".

Swift then showed an inordinate amount of patience (and sass), explaining basic anatomy to the attorney when told him the reason the photo isn't direct evidence of the groping is "because my ass is located in the back of my body". Below, some of Swift's most defiant, forthright quotes. The singer's been in court every day since the trial began, something she hopes will "serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts".

"Which is a new one for me", she said, testily, "but I have an uncanny ability to elicit new criticism".

Mueller denies the claim, and says the accusations led to him being fired.

On Wednesday, Andrea Swift delivered dramatic testimony as she described learning about the alleged groping of her daughter. In 2015, he sued in hopes of collecting $3 million in damages. "He sexually assaulted her".

Swift's mom, Andrea, wasn't present at court on Thursday because the judge said she wasn't feeling well.
