Qatar has no plan to lay gas pipelines through Arab countries - ambassador

In early June, long-simmering tension spilled over into open hostility when Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and other countries broke ties with Qatar over what they claimed was its financing of terrorism.

Previously, those Arab States named terrorists other 59 persons and 12 entities, majority Qatari and Egyptian, while they described Doha authorities as continuously violating of commitments and agreements referred to not supporting nor giving refuge to elements nor organizations that threaten regional security.

"The three Qatari individuals on the list, along with a Kuwaiti individual, have engaged in fund-raising campaigns to support Al-Nusra Front and other terrorist militias in Syria", the statement noted. The aim of the visits to those countries was the settlement of the Qatar crisis. "Such tensions only affect the terrorist groups and their supporters".

The blacklist of terrorists and terror entities that was issued by the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt in June naming what they said the names and organisations funded for doing terror work by Qatar included four Libyan names and one entity.

The Qatari minister ruled out the relocation of the Al-Udeid US military base from his country.

"It is only once the necessary measures are undertaken by Qatar, that goes towards truly accepting to be a partner in the fight against terrorism, that this crisis will be resolved", he said.

"We will see that there have been advancements in some critical issues", he said.

Tuesday's additions to the list include three organisations based in Yemen and six based in Libya, which the four Arab governments accuse of having ties to al-Qaeda.

Last month, the four countries added five Libyan nationals and one entity to the list of alleged "terror".

Qatar has denied the accusations.

Turkey's president - now in the Gulf on a series of official visits - has reiterated his support for Kuwaiti mediation of the ongoing Qatar crisis, an aide to Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday.
