Taylor Swift Returns to Spotify as Katy Perry Releases 'Witness'

Let's recap. You might remember Taylor made a big song and dance back in 2014 about removing all her music from Spotify, penning an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal denouncing streaming for lessening album sales.

Another account accused Taylor of stealing Katy's thunder by writing, "taylor swift's the kind of person who'd go into labor at someone else's baby shower or announce her engagement during someone else's wedding". It all started when Swift told Rolling Stone about a pop star, who Swift was never sure was a friend or a foe.

She continued: "But, what I wanna say is that I'm ready for that B.S.to be done".

Sharing a post on Instagram that celebrated Taylor Swift's album, 1989, selling over 10 million copies, the Blank Space singer apparently wanted to thank her fans by making all her music available to stream. Her catalog had previously only been available on Apple Inc's Music service.

A couple of years ago, the Grammy victor shook the music industry when she penned an open letter to Apple Music as she slammed their decision to not offer artist compensations during the free trial of the service. The timing was even more interesting since the "Dark Horse" songstress, 32, has publicly discussed her feud with Swift multiple times in the last few weeks while promoting her fifth record.

She added: "I said that but, I mean, I'm not Buddha - things irritate me".

In this week's edition of Britain's NME magazine she talked about the drama again, saying, "I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I'm also not a pushover, you know?" Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girl.

The dancers tried to reason with Swift's management but were instead fired.
