What is Jared Kushner's role?

On March 31st TRUNEWS reported that Preibus' deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh was leaving her White House position to play a role in at the Pro-Trump Super-PAC America First Policies, where former Trump campaign national spokeswomen Katrina Pierson now serves. Bannon reportedly had a tantrum, threatening to quit the administration altogether, but was talked down by billionaire Republican mega-donor Rebekah Mercer.

In what would easily be one of the biggest political moves in history, reports are saying that Donald Trump is actually considering dumping Steve Bannon and Reince Preibus from his administration.

The Daily Beast reported that Bannon has vented to White House colleagues about Kushner, calling him a "globalist" and "cuck" - favorite slurs used by the far right. And it was just as shocking to learn this week that Bannon had been removed from said council.

U.S. President Donald Trump delivers a statement at his Mar-a-Lago estate in West Palm Beach, Florida, U.S., April 6, 2017. The news here isn't that one or the other might be gone soon, it's that both might be gone soon - a weird, surprising turn if it comes to be given that they were thought initially to be the two main rivals for control of the White House's agenda.

White House Chief of Staff Reince, left, and Senior Counselor Steve Bannon, right, make a joint appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland on February 23, 2017. Bannon, they say, accused Kushner and his cohort of attempting to undermine his populist and anti-establishment approach.

Trump mulled reassigning Bannon and chief of staff Reince Priebus, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday afternoon. To minimize potential conflicts of interest in the future, Ms. Trump had transferred her brand's assets into a trust taken care by her brother-in-law, Josh Kushner, and sister-in-law, Nicole Meyer.

TheHill.com said the administration is complaining that its victory dance about the airstrikes on Syria Thursday night and the confirmation of its Supreme Court nominee is getting stepped on by too many stories about palace intrigue within the White House.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is reportedly in the running.

Still, Chris Ruddy, a longtime Trump friend and the head of NewsMax, said Trump thrives on internal debate but does not like "when people are leaking or criticizing to the outside".
