Israel's Labor Party is not that innocent - it's delayed its leadership election because of a Britney Spears concert slated to take place on the same day as voting. So they rescheduled their election for July 4 instead.
Rather it is because the Spears concert appears to have cornered the market in security guards and ushers, leaving Labour unable to find staff to secure its election event as well as concern over heavy traffic anticipated from those attending her gig. The eight people running for the Labor Party's chairperson don't matter because they all just lost to Britney Spears.
The site reports that the decision was made in order to "make it easier" for party members to reach polling stations. It is noted that leader of the party is one of the main candidates for a post of Prime Minister. It is her first tour outside the US since 2011.
