Destiny 2 Releases on September 8 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

Bungie confirmed the much-awaited Destiny 2 earlier this week and it has since been providing us with more information about the title. There's a lot of stuff in this Destiny 2 leak, including a brief description of the game and the content of the Collector's and Limited Edition. Yet, with all the fun and pre-order bonuses already being shoved out the door before an ounce of gameplay has been shown, one can't help but be cautious.

Destiny 2, however, is offering something that I think is completely new to the game: Something we would actually use in our everyday life. I mean I know that part of the reason the Last City is falling is to give Guardians a clean slate, but it felt more unusual than "hilarious" for the first real trailer we see for the game to spend time spelling that out. As a Guardian in Destiny 2, players must master new abilities and weapons to reunite the city's forces, stand together and fight back to reclaim their home. But, our latest news adds a release date and more.

Bungie just released Destiny 2's official reveal trailer, confirming a PC release alongside PS4 and Xbox One on September 8.

More news: Government embarrassed as Rajya Sabha returns Finance bill with amendments

As we saw a couple days ago in the teaser video for Destiny 2, Nathan Fillion is reprising his role of Cayde-6, the most entertaining Hunter Vanguard, and it's gonna be hilarious.

It may well be all quiet on the Destiny 2 front until the gameplay livestream on 18 May, but we'll let you know if any other exciting details emerge in the meantime. With a compelling, immersive story and fresh beginning awaiting all players, Destiny 2 will deliver an adventure for new and existing players to embark on.

Of course, take a look at some art, packshots, trailer screenshots and the brand new reveal trailer below. Players once again assume the role of a Guardian fighting to protect humanity from threats of invading aliens. An Expansion Pass Bundle with the game will be available for $89.99, and a Digital Deluxe edition with some extra goodies will be $99.99.
