No feud in family, Akhilesh will be next CM: Mulayam Singh Yadav

At a press conference in Lucknow, when infighting within the Samajwadi Party was at its peak, MP and close confidante of Mulayam Singh Yadav Amar Singh said: "One leader who can not even speak proper Hindi is projecting himself as a big neta and is calling the shots in Samajwadi Party. "We want to save the country from Amit Shah and Prime Minister Modi". He said that there were no differences in the party, reported ANI. "Akhilesh will be the Chief Minister if the alliance wins", he told reporters in Parliament on Monday.

Akhilesh today addressed six election rallies in Sitapur as part of his vigorous campaigning in the state.

The SP leader's volte-face comes a week after his statement on January 29, voicing displeasure over the SP-Congress alliance for the Assembly elections, saying he would not campaign for it. The Congress and SP workers were stunned. It was the SP Government that announced a financial aid of Rs 2 lakh for the families of such people. "We gave a good number of seats to Congress".

There was a feeling that if Mulayam starts talking against the alliance in the Yadav-dominated constituencies in central UP it will be a requiem for the tie-up. Both are contesting and giving a tough fight to the SP candidates.

Akhilesh listed the achievements of his government and said that more development will take place if the Samajwadi Party returns to power.
